Welcome to CVSFA – Central Virginia Sport Fishing Association

CVSFA is a Tri-Cities based Sport Fishing club. The Chesapeake Bay, the Blue Water off the Virginia Coast, the James river, local Lakes and the mountains of the Shenandoah are all well known to our members. The CVSFA features club events and tournaments, charity events like Wish-A-Fish and monthly meetings featuring guest speakers and local experts. We also feature an active message board for all the latest reports and information about Sport Fishing in Virginia.

August 1, 2024, Meeting Announcement

Our next meeting is August 1, 2024 at 325 E Williamsburg Rd, Sandston, VA 23150. Our speaker is Simon Valencia who will discuss salt water fly fishing. Simon prefers sight casting and will go into location, and technique. Simon owns the Current Culture Fly Shop at 1207Westover Hills Rd, Richmond, VA and offers fly fishing classes, guided fly-fishing classes and gear. The meeting starts at 7:00 and come early for some delicious Italian food and catch up on the latest fishing news.
